As part of our ongoing effort to provide Cisco related news we have decided to dedicate some time and space to error messages.

Like most IT technicians I spend alot of time investigating errors and more often than not they seem most unhelpful and coupled with the fact that I have to trawl through thousands of posts on the internet which may or may not be accurate it can quickly become a pretty miserable job.

The Cisco site itself does have alot of information about errors but again finding it is not easy and alot of users do not have access to the tools and resources, hopefully if we can compile a list of as many errors for different scenarios in one place then we will be taking a step in the right direction. One other key important difference between what we are trying to achieve and what other sites may offer is that our information will be moderated by Cisco knowledgable people, and judging by alot of the sites I’ve seen out there we are about the only ones keeping it real ;)

For now the information will be presented as a post but coming shortly in the very near future we will be implementing a fully functionally and interactive forum. Watch this space!!!……..

The forums and related ideas are still being batted around. We have one or two technical kinks to iron out before they can go live :)
