Some of you may remember portsdb.org which was a valuable tool when searching for port information, but unfortunately this website has been gone and thought to be lost for over 2 years. Cisconews is proud to announce its impending resurrection!!! We will be spending some time over the coming weeks updating it and improving its presentation so that we can provide our viewers with an interactive version. We would very much like you ‘the readers’ to keep us updated on new applications and their port usage so that we can keep the database current and of course we will be adding the latest port info from the guys over at iana.
