Cisco PEC has long been a tool that we at Cisconews have used extensively. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not know about it or assume it will not really be of any use, this could not be further from the truth.

If you work for a Cisco Partner you can get free access to this resource. Once logged in you will find a multitude of labs covering everything from specialization topics to Certification related materials.

The labs give you access to real devices and a level of hands-on that most cannot afford to achieve at home. I highly recommend checking them out. If you do not work for a Partner there may be other ways to get access to these labs, check with Cisco and see what they say.
