		<description>BEcrypt does look very good. We are going to be looking at PointSec soon which is a checkpoint product. 2 Factor auth is a must in these products!</description>

		<description>Yeah free is good, but as you mentioned Goverment Agencies they have to conform to standards and recommendations. 

They also will pay for an encryption software through the nose.  BeCrypt encrypts the whole hard disk.  You need a Dongle in order to boot the laptop up and username/pwd before Becrypt starts working and allows the OS to boot up. Without the dongle and a username/pwdword the disk drive is unusable.

I can only say our systems use this method, but there are tons of systems in each agencies and not all have protection!

		<description>There are certainly quite a few products out there. Wontboot (i mean safeboot), Drivecrypt, Pointsec etc. Truecrypt is definitely the cheapest though ;)</description>
